Sarah started swim lessons at the YMCA this past week. They are for 2 weeks, Monday - Thursday. She's doing very well in class. At first she almost cried when they asked her to blow bubbles in the water, but by Thursday she was doing it with no promlem. She doesn't like being splashed in the face and has a fear of sinking. All the kids wear a "bubble" on their back. Almost all the kids swam out alone with their "bubble", but not Sarah. She did jump in the water holding the instructors hands, she still went under water. She doesn't seem afraid of jumping anymore, just won't do it without holding hands. The kids played in water on our deck on Friday. On Saturday, we went to the YMCA indoor pool to swim and for Sarah to show Daddy what she learned. I did get her to swim with the "bubble" and no hands for a few seconds. And she jumped into the water holding my hands (happily). We'll see how she does this week with her lessons.
Sarah decided to try on a clown outfit that Grandma got them. She also got Joshua a lion outfit that was for Toddler 2-4, but it was super small and would never fit him. So Joshua had to try on the clown outfit and get a picture with Aunt Karen also.
This past week we also had therapists from Montgomery County Early Intervention come in to evaluate Joshua's speech(since he doesn't have many words). He qualifues for speech therapy once a week. The coordinator found a speech tharapist already and I should be hearing for her soon. They also want him to see a Gastro... doc due to him having acid reflux as a baby and he doesn't have many consistant foods that he eats. Oh, and an allergist. We have an appointment with a CHOP gastro... doc at the end of August and we'll go from there.
Aunt Karen finally arrived home, after being rear-ended not far from our house. So she was delayed for 2 hours. She's fine, but the back of her van is not.

So I take it Joshua is still huge? If the 2-4 outfit didnt fit him! lol Do you know the name of his speech therapist yet? We had lots of experience with that, so let me know if you have any questions :)
Amy Overhosler(not sure if that is how you spell the last name). We'll meet her this Friday.
